Well I haven't properly introduced myself on this thread as I did on the other. My name is jesse, family and friends when I was a kid called me silly. Rode ammeture mx when I was a kid and got thrown out of a car at 80mph on my way to a race the day after I signed a contract for a big company. After a long road of recovery my love for motorcycles still exists but i started building cars. Now I have 2 great kids and a amazing wife. my son wrenches with me and we've decided to make this our next project. I had a built 900 hp wk1 that was stolen and decided to go with a wk2 this time. I bought a mint 2012. I didn't get a 15 because they haven't quite worked out the trans tuning issue and I didn't want that to hold me back power wise.

Build specs so far. A forged motor from demon performance with diamond coated pistons,Turbo cam, Thitek heads. Two prescion 64/66 turbos. We where going with pte 67/70 but we decided to go with the 66s because we can achieve that 1300hp mark with less lag. Going with a paramount super pro trans and torque converter. Ported 6.1 intake manifold a2speed true 90mm throttle body. Id 1700 injectors. Fore triple pump 275 set up. Aeromotive fuel rails and regulator. Zeitronix gauges etc. The truck is at the turbo shop being torn down and me and my son will see if I can find time to do the motor and trans our selves. I will be updating this thread as I can. I appreciate this site for being here to.let us gear heads talk about this platform. I want to bring this wk2 into the 9s.

Looking forward to seeing how this project turns out!

Now as you posted a pic above, I have a Q about wheels and tyres on these things...
The 305/35/22's always seem a lil large in OD to me.
I know the tyre calculators say they should be the correct dia, but actually they are a fair bit larger in OD than the OE tyres.
A better fit I think is 295/30/22 on 10's and 10.5's.
Or a 315/30/22 on an 11" rim. Much closer to the OE tyre dia.
Also.....have you noticed the rear tyre is forward in the wheel arch??
I have tried extending the forward upper control arm by 10-12mm to reposition the rear wheel. It sits in the arch much better.
Sorry to go off topic...just thinking out loud..maybe I should start a thread about wheels/suspension hehe...

I put the tires and wheels on and the next day the whole front end is torn off working on the plumbing for the turbos so I haven't had a chance to look through the wheels really yet. I'm putting the mids on when I get it back doing an alignment and I'll do a write up.

I would be posting more pics of progress but it wont let me. Weird rules on this site. Front is tore off there custom building my intercooler. Its a monster made to hold 1400 hp all day long. 6.1 mani is all ported. Turbos will be top mount moved some electrical for that. Ordered the paramount super pro trans today and stage 6 2 step with a turbo smart boost controller. Its rollimg along nicely.

Oh no i have a 2012 srt. 6.4 forged to the hill. I only bought the 2012 because i wanted to put in a super pro nag 1. The 2014 plus have that tcm torque thing that has kept the jeeps from putting the big numbers to the ground. I heard they almost got it but i didnt wanna wait.

A kit like this now that i paid the fee to be a guinea pig. If u go through the shop doing mine who is a unbelievable fab tech. Should be for twins. 11k with install. Now u could get less turbo and a few other things to drive that cost down but i got the best of the best everything.

Yes u could do it in your 5.7 u would wanna forge it but i believe turbos are where its at. Ive had the big 3.2 kenne bells. And the prochager f1 a. Ive done it all. I love a good twin turbo kit. Make more power safer and if u get ur stall right and cam right the thing leaves like it wants your heart. Turbos are where its at now a days.

I'm looking to build a twin turbo wk2 srt 1000+ hp myself

Where did you get the turbo kit fabbed?

I'd be interested in picking your brain and getting some info if you don't mind ..I've been messing around with a supercharged 3.6l wk2 for the past year and just literally flushed 30k down the toilet on an engine /setup that never made it off the dyno

Now I'm looking to build something like you're building that will be powerful yet reliable

Any help is greatly appreciated

Here's my email : ajagielski@hotmail.com

Thanks!

Ide be happy to answer any questions. In the mean time chime in on my forum at the other jeep cherokee forum under superchargers and turbos performance section. There u will see oics and others talking about my build. I have built a few stroked twin turbo hemis. And have made them very reliable.

Turbo kit is just about wrapped up. Have to powder coat the piping and manifold and ceramic coat the hot side of the turbos. Turbos will also be red and i have custom annodize red billet valve covers and coil pack covers coming. Got motor and trans going in now. And have the factory seats and the upholstery shop to diamond stitch and re bolster them. The will be just like the cobra misano seats but in the stock seat fassion and have all factory fuctions.

I encourage everyone to check out my other thread where ive been documenting the installation process. And everything else.

That's a beautiful collection of hard work and artistry you have there. Love the vreds too but imagine those will be replaced with drag radials for runs.

Well lots goin on. Motor and heads came in interior is almost done. They look better in person . They really feel like a true bucket like the cobra or recaro seat. They totally transformed it. They still have to stretch it and nip and tuck a few places but its beautiful to me.
