Had them on my 12 and they were fine. I'm assuming they will b just fine on the new one. Dealership is putting the complete system on.

Re: 2014 GC SRT - Beginner Mods?

So Jan is here and it is time to order some stuff, I was looking at the BWoody CAI and is it this one for US$389

BWP Automotive Concepts

Plus... do I then need the following options of
- Drycharger
- T Bolt Clamps
- 80mm Throttle Body coupler (I have the OEM one)
- Upgraded AFE Progard Filter
- Washer Bottle

If I take all of these I end up over US$600

Also from the post I've read is there an issue with the Washer Bottles anyway?

If you are a DIY'er I would skip the washer bottle and get one from the local auto parts store and fab it using your oem pump and just cut and extend the wires. Much cheaper and a cleaner install IMHO

Re: 2014 GC SRT - Beginner Mods?

I'm about to pull the trigger on the BWoody cold air intake, just wanted to make sure that I should't consider any other CAI? I am looking for performance with this mod. Any other recommendations that won't break the bank?

Re: 2014 GC SRT - Beginner Mods?

all others are hot air intakes IMHO. My intake dropped significantly and I got the best performance from the bwoody

Yeah the injen is the only other intake worth looking at. Although it has a heat shield it is still pulling in hot air at times as Scott said.

But it is pulling more air than stock and sounds better. If you cool with relocating your washer and such. Bwoody is the best option. Injen 2nd.

Re: 2014 GC SRT - Beginner Mods?

most folks will add an 87mm throttle body from fastman, 180 degree tstat, some billet tech stuff...then move on the blackopsautoworks.com and add springs wheels etc. LOL....it never ends bro
