Same. It's still pretty solid even without the bracket.

Love mine. 7-8 degrees different from ambient.

Re: 2014 GC SRT - Beginner Mods?

So from what I am reading, these things can now be tuned correct? Assuming Ripp has mail order tune to fit their blower (and maybe some other things like TB and exhaust). Is it now possible to run no Cats?
And is it possible to take this base mail order tune and have the vehicle dyno tuned?

Thanks

Does anyone have back back dyno runs on the TB mod?

Quick question guys, does applying a tune void engine/any other warranty? I am in Canada if that makes a difference.

Kinda.. if you leave it on while you go to the dealer but if you go back to the stock tune they won't know and never ever tell them you put a tune on it. Youll be golden and just put the tune back on after you leave takes at most a few mins.

Thank you for the reply, has this been verified? Has anyone tuned it, removed it, then had warrenty work completed?

Only reason im asking more in detail, is because I want to do headers/CAI and a tune but im worried that it will void factory warrenty. Which also brings me to my next question(s), with out a tune would my jeep run okay with these mods on?

Do any of these beginner mods void warrenty?

Sincerely,

Paranoid Pete

Hey Pete.
It all depends on what you need warranty work for. If it is engine related, I am sure they will question the long tube headers and possibly do a scan on the PCM to check for tunes. They may, they may not.
And yes, with the headers/cai, I would do a tune. It's almost useless to install them without the tune. Although, you may be able to do the cai without a tune. Maybe someone else can chime in on that.
