392 Builds

Has anyone simply rebuilt the 6.4L for better performance? What would it take to get another 50hp? 100hp?

Any NA 426 builds out there? What are we looking at price wise to build these things up?

Re: 392 Builds

I believe someone here built a boost proof 426 from their 6.4l. Also I video was posted of an exhaust clip of kooks/gt Haus system and the truck also had a bad ass loping cam. I have a 2015. I see some forged bottom ends kits for sale below 2 grand. But it would be sweet to hear some experiences on people who did the cam and maybe heads on their 6.4l and how did you tune it.

Re: 392 Builds

I wouldn't mind rebuilding my 392, pistons, rods, crank and worked heads with a decent supercharger would be all it needs. The ZF can esily be rebuilt to handle the extra power.
From what I've seen the 392 block looks well built and capable of taking a decent amount of power/boost. My last build was always cracking liners at high boost, but there was little I could do to change this without having a custom block built. I wouldn't be worried about this with the 392 block. I haven't looked, but there must be plenty people ut there running rebuilt 392's with stories, help, advice etc.

I am seriously regretting buying a new SRT, I usualy buy cars at 2 years old ignore the remaining warranty then spend a fortune on engine mods. But with a new car I can't do anything major until I get at least 18 month down the road
