American racing headers

Whats up guys planning on doing a write up on american racing headers. I live near them and they do local installs and my car is there now having 1-7/8 catless longtubes installed, i have stock catback with rear mufflex muffler deletes. There customer service is great and when i dropped my car off they gave me a tour of the production process and their entire shop which is pretty cool. Install time they said should be a day and a half so i'll have it tomorrow around 11. Install was 500 and headers were 1500. Real bunch of stand up guys and will talk your ear off about cars. Stay tuned for updates on when i get it back!

Re: American racing headers

I hope their WK2 headers aren't like the WK1 where it went under the transmission...what a pain in the ass those are to install. Nice quality headers though.

Too many mods to list for each, so let's just say a lot was done over the years.

Re: American racing headers

Got the headers installed mated up to my mufflex muffler deletes and it sounds amazing. Very very loud and suprisingly withZERO drone. No check engine light with my hemifever tune and it feels great. Top end really improved and i keep up with my friends mustangs much easier. As for the sound its rediculous so loud and exactly what i was going for. However i'm installing a borla atak i got this week at a too good to pass up price just to add some tone to it. Hopefully that doesnt quiet it down at all cause i love how it sounds the fact that people next to me jump as i fly past them is good enough for me. The quality of these headers is unmatched 304 stainless perfect fitment and ARH's installation department is top notch. Overall extremly satisfied and money well spent. I definitely reccomend their headers and this setup to all of you guys.
