ARH X Pipe and Reso Ordered

I took the idea from a member at the other site and ordered the American Racing Cat Back Exhaust minus the axle back. He is going to add a 2 3/4" cone onto their 2 1/2" resonators so hopefully the Borla ATAK will slip right over it. It should be here in 2 weeks.

I love the ATAK but it's just not loud enough.

The plan is to dyno the Jeep this Saturday before I leave for Germany/Poland, and then when I get back and install the exhaust I'm going to re-dyno in similar conditions.

I'd love to gain HP but if I don't that's fine, so long as I don't lose it. I just want to be able to sound like the Chargers and Challengers with exhaust. The Jeep is too tame for my taste

I'll posted videos of before and after the installation.

Before (ATAK only) on a cold morning

Warm start after hour of driving in the afternoon.

Once we get another cold morning I'll do a sufficient cold start for equal comparison. It's much louder and sounds great in person.

Re: ARH X Pipe and Reso Ordered

Here are my posts from the other site that explains my after thoughts.

1:
The ATAK alone is relatively quiet inside the cabin. You forget it's there. This you hear and feel. IMHO it's as far as you can go without being that obnoxious turd with bullets and straight pipes. My driving fun factor has tripled with the complete exhaust.

I'll make some videos this weekend and post them up. I'm new to this whole post videos thing so bare with me on the crappy quality.

2:
Well after 2 days with it here are my thoughts. Keep in mind this is EVIC time. My all time best to 60 has been a 4.4 in 55-70 degree weather and 40-65% humidity. Before my Bwoody my best was a 4.6 in slightly warmer weather and my times were all over the place. I can't say with certainty that the Bwoody improved my times but I can sure as hell say it increased my consistency. Instead of 4.6-5.2 I was 4.6-4.8s.

Today I pulled two 4.3 0-60s in 70 degrees and 85% humidity. Then I stopped and did another 4.3 back to back. The first time my tires spun the second time no spin. It sure as hell feels like it pulls harder. I was prepared for power loss so I think the gains are real, no placebo affect.

On the highway it pulls stronger without a doubt. I'm looking forward to lining up with my buddies RS5 again and hopefully an M3 he has been kicking the shit out of. It should be fun. If I can get him to "borrow" his step dad's '14 Cayenne Turbo that's what I really want to see.

As requested. I am dying to hear it on a cold morning. Should sound real nasty.

Sorry for the delay. Thanks a lot for the nice words. I really like the system. It's perfect for my taste. It will drone but only at high speeds. I've had the system for a while now and no codes whatsoever.

I do not have part numbers. I had the ATAK installed for a while and then called Mike at American Racing. I told him I needed their X-pipe and resonators. Basically, it's their cat back minus the axle back. The other guy who did this said his mounted up perfectly. My ATAK had to be cut some to get it to fit but now it's great.

My tips do stick out more now but I've really grown fond of the look. I get a lot of compliments and it makes the Jeep look more aggressive. I'll take some pics of the tips and post them here later.
