This valve would be the valve to recirculate - the 360 vent is more the tuner style vlave and would be very difficult to do. We can exchange it for you if please contact sales@rippmods.com including this link.

OK - Will do. I'll wait to the install is done over the next couple of days then do the swap prior to going for certification if that is alright?

Yes, before you install please update the RM1000 (The RIPP provided Intune) to the newest firmware, which carries over the newer tuning.

Its easy email ripptuning@gmail.com for instructions

Re: Australian RIPP Install (RHD)

The install has been done and it is all running and looks good!.... but I'm still Interstate so won't get to play with it for another day

Comments from the installer are:
- Kits was very well made
- The instructions are good (they would tweak a few things)
- The BOV will attract attention of everyone in the area and I said it would be changed

I'll find out more when I'm back and I'm sure they will use the time to test drive it and make sure it is all ok

Re: Australian RIPP Install (RHD)

FYI - For me I want a 100% legal and insured daily drive. So I need:
- Insurance: Called AAMI (current insurer) who have agreed to keep the current insurance at the same cost with the mod till the current insurance expires and at which point they let me know if they want to continue or not. How good is that! They as std don't insure modified cars but their subsidiary JustCars do and I did an online quote it it was under A$1K which is pretty good.
- IM240 Emission Test: These are free in NSW and are required prior to getting an engineering certificate
- Engineering Certificate: I've spoken to EVO Compliance and they will charge me A$1,500 for this (includes a brake test at a track). Subsequent users will not need the brake test so should cheaper.

The results will then be a legal modified car with a modified car compliance plate.

To get this rolling, I will need the Plumb Back as Vent to Atmo BOV are just illegal in Oz (NSW) and I don't want the hassle of a defect notice.

I'd need to speak to Evo Compliance on what you would need to do. They did say you would not need the brake test but I don't know if you need the IM240 test again....

Great to hear, thank you for the input, if possible, please have your installer jot down the instructions notes he pointed out so we can make the necessary adjustment. Its always good to have installer feed back when it comes to new kits.

The standard Vortech valve has been ordered from Vortech for you, we should have it in our hands in 5-7 days and you should have it in 10-15.
