Well done to whoever at RIPP did the custom tune overnight. I'll post back some logs again.

3.8 felt great and has me wondering what time RIPP is targeting for the kit?

Thanks
Nathan
have you had any better time runs Nath ?
I just got a new tune from demon and i have gone from 4.4 to a 4.1 last night , i am super pumped to get my SC as well.

Re: Australian RIPP Install (RHD)

Unfortunately with the travel I've been doing with work I've had no time to get an aggressive run done yet. Looking forward to getting towards the 3.5sec mark however! Good to catchup when you have your SC installed.

Hi RIPP, I did get one update (13th Sept) that fixed hitting the rev limiter and I then did the 3.8 run with and sent some logs of that run. Is there a Later Tune than this one you would like me to try (I'm happy to keep doing runs and sending logs but just trying to keep a low profile till the new Plumb Back BOV shows up - how is that going?)

Thanks
Nathan

Nath,

We do have a solution that will work. Its the older style Vortech Valve and a combination of hoses that step downs from the valve to the back of the air filter. We have a SRT in the shop we will be testing today. It took a little time for the combination of parts to arrive. In fact we have to manually machine of the step down pieces from a solid piece of aluminum.

We will package it and get it out to you.

Tune will be on its way shortly -

How did it go? Any pics or closer to shipping the kit or the tune?

Re: Australian RIPP Install (RHD)

Nath,

We do have a solution for you, please take a look at the pictures we have provided. As you can see there is the older style BOV that has a hose attached, it transitions from that hose to a smaller flexible hose that then feeds into the back of the air filter. We had to manufacture the step down from the rubber hose to the flexible hose and locate the press-in barbed fitting at the air filter.

Acceptable?
