Borla Install Tips

Just got my new Atak from Borla and wondered if anyone has any installation tips. I plan on installing it with my brother. What is the best tool to cut the factory exhaust off?

Sawzall, and make sure you have the correct clamps to put in the atak unless you are welding it. And finally double check the clearance between the exhaust and the crossbar right above it i had to heat mine and bend it down because it was hitting when i went over bumps in the road....

Re: Borla Install Tips

The clamps provided should be the correct ones, right? Were you able to the job yourself or did you need an extra pair of hands to hold everything in place while cutting and when installing the new one?

Problem with mine was they didnt give me the clamps....and if you do have all the correct parts, its pretty much a one man job

Re: Borla Install Tips

Finally installed. I was going to do it over the weekend but never got around to it so I took it to Midas. They did it for me in 30 min for $45. I think the aggravation I would have gone through was worth the money to have it installed for me. It looks an sound great.
