CAI... is a tune needed?

Hey everyone,

I'm a happy owner of a new to me 2014 and have a question regarding CAI's... I have the AFE system on order (I know it's not a true CAI System but regardless) and a co worker was trying to tell me that I'd need a tune because it would throw off the air/fuel mixture ratio causing me to run lean on the top end. Is this true? I would think that between the MAF and ECU that the system could compensate for this small modification.

What's your take?
