Im finally pulling the trigger and getting some stuff done. I was all set on getting a Borla ATAK installed, but the guy at the shop is trying to talk me into a Corsa.

Any thoughts?

They both sound great in my opinion just see what you like from the numerous sound clips on youtube, however, the Corsa looks horrible IMO, the borla looks alot better when look at it from the back end. The Corsa's mufflers just stick out way too much maybe if they were all completely black it wouldn't bother me so much but that's one of the main reasons I went with the borla.

Hi Guys, I have a question on exhaust and new car warranty. I will be getting my new GC SRT in a couple of days and want to install the Borla Atak cat back, will this void the warranty on the vehicle or just the warranty on the exhaust system?

Any assistance would be appreciated, I'm located in Australia..

Cheers

I had AR headers and Corsa catback 2012
A little tinny
Here is the audio http://youtu.be/WNkS4wXPqKM

I have AR headers and their complete setup 2014 Here is the audio Throaty http://youtu.be/gHxuLF1KwP0
Hope this helps
It must be the combination of the AR headers with the Corsa cat-back that makes it sound "tinny". I have the Corsa cat back installed on my 5.7 and one word I could not use to describe the sound is "tinny". The thing rumbles at idle and roars under acceleration.

I have had a few call's with people telling me they are unhappy with their Corsa's and Boral's and since have removed them for the GtHaus,AR or Kooks full system's and are very now happy. The Corsa did not do for the 2012+ what it did for the 05-10's they said. They all said the same thing they hoped for it to be the same as the 05-10's but was just too raspy and droned at certain RPM's.
This is just some customer reviews not mine at all just wanted to put this out their in case everyone is expecting them to sound like the previous Gen Corsa's they don't all of these customers had previous Gen WK1 Corsa's

Not really happy I installed the Corsa cat-back...I was fairly expensive, it reduced my low end performance noticeably, and the sound....it kind of sounds like a '59 Cadillac with bad mufflers..very rumbly and not a performance sound at all.
The quality is excellent though...and my top end is improved, for what that's worth.
Just one man's opinion. ..take it or leave it

I had the Borla atak first I was really happy with it and loved the look after I painted it black. I now have a kooks full setup, and I love it. Only thing I don't like is it uses the stock tips, and I've been having a hard time finding a tip that looks like the Borlas that will work.

2014 SRT - just put the Borla S-types on my ride and I noticed they weigh significantly less than the stock exhaust. They also weigh less than the ATAK I believe, if you are a min/maxer. They drone is a lot better and almost nonexistent than the stock exhaust in my opinion, reason enough to do the upgrade. The sound is classy and not even noticeable at cruising speeds. When you are giving it some pedal its a different story, even idles way more manly. amazon prime - can I say this? lol

only other upgrade is diablosport intune 91 octane which is also a must IMO, drives wayyyyyyyyy better even for a daily commuter, downshifts, shifting times, throttle response, etc. a totally different truck. improved my 0-60 times by over 0.5 sec

I'm trading in my '13 Overland on an Audi SQ5. Just removed Hemifever tune, Fastman 85mm ported throttle body, and Volant CAI...Although I did leave the Corsa cat back on.The difference is UNBELIEVABLE! What a dog!
It reminds me of why I started all these mods in the first place!
I will be offering these items for sale on JG very soon.
