Re: Fastman Throttle Body

Well I contacted Dan at Fastman and ordered one. Glad I talked to him, I didn't realize that the 2012 tb was different from the 2013. Went with the 847 oversized option, I think the 2013 is the 521; for some reason they went with different electronics housings.

One last thing I need to do is get a 180 Tstat - anyone have a recommendation on which one to get and where???

One last question I forgot to answer above is whether I got any codes after the headers install. Several people have not but I did, I threw a couple of codes on the bank 2 passengar side. P0153 and P2098 codes, I even had the O2s replaced. The custom tune fixed it though; I think he just basically turned the rear O2s off, which you can now do as of a couple of weeks ago...

Jet part# 10183

yes...the 13' is a different TB. I noticed this when adding my billet tech TB cover. 13's also have some other differences.....like 70/30 rear bias in track mode etc.

Re: Fastman Throttle Body

Thanks Scott! Ordered the Jet T-stat. Once I get TB and T-Stat installed, should be set on this thing...

Were you guys able to access the video link to the exhaust?

I'm pretty sure it was the 1 7/8" option; almost 99% sure... I think that's what ARH recommends as well...

I did my install in two phases as I was a little hesitant in getting it all done at once. I ordered the headers/cats and had a local shop do the install. Cost of headers on the ARH site is $1,625 plus labor for install. I got my local shop to purchase them along with install for $2,000. I think that was an awesome deal given it took us close to 10 hours to do the install. ARH could probably do it in 8 hours, but it's a pain in the rear... My local shop said they would never do it for that price again!

I then went back directly to ARH to do the rest of the Catback setup, they did it for $1,750. Cost on their website is $1,695 - you always get a better deal if you work with them directly. So total for me out of pocket was $3,750 plus the cost for the custom tune...

So my fast man tb is bad now with only 500 miles on it and Fastman not doing anything. Not happy at all. He said send it back and I will fix it mechanically but it will cost u. Not happy. Every time I drive it I have to reset it before driving. Not happy with the customer service.
