Any of you boosted guys running an AFR gauge? I keep mulling over getting one but can't figure out how/where to mount it.
I don't want to put a generic single add-on pod on the A-pillar because it will look like crap. I don't really want to mount in the overhead console and I don't see a single option there anyways.
My thought is figuring out a way to put it behind the door in front of the shifter, but that is going to be hard to see... The Innovate Motorsports timer/AFR display is really what I'm leaning towards at this point...still don't know where I'll put it though.
I'd do the A-pillar if there was one made that matches the SRT interior. Market is so small there won't ever be one though. The universal isn't going to match the texture...
Even the Innovate, it's a small rectangle, but there isn't a real good place to put it permanently. I was thinking I could run it up the A pillar though and mount it in the top left corner somehow...
I have an AFR and a boost gauge mounted on the overhead console. I like how it came out, the only issue is that it blocks the rear view mirror about 20%. It bothered me for about a day, but I'm used to it now, no issues and barely even notice it anymore when looking at the mirror.
I got a $15.00 universal one on eBay and cut it down to fit the flat part of the pillar then wrapped it in slit vacuum line
for a better finished appearance.
Held on with 1 black panhead screw.
