GT Haus has finally posted a picture of their new car back system. The tips are huge! Looks pretty damn nice. Can't wait to hear it.

Carbon6 has the system at home waiting to be put on. He's been traveling. I know one other guy from Instagram who purchased just the axle back and he is saying it did not make much of a difference and that he is upset he didn't buy the full cat back with x pipe after listening to my videos compared to his. I would highly recommend the full set up. I think I can feel a bit of a power gain when I have the valves opened up. Last night a diesel truck tried to race me at a stop light and I ran a 0-60 in 3.7 with out launch control and with out my nitrous. This was the best time I have done. And I did it at 3 stop lights in a row. Could just be a mental thing but I honestly think it opened up some power with out that extra restriction in factory exhaust. Can't wait to get headers soon.

wow , very nice system. so if i have kooks headers can i add in the xpipes and cat back and get that sound ? or is there full system coming with headers ?
Yours will prob sound even better than mine if you already have the headers! I am doing headers in the next month or two. All you need to do is buy the full cat back system and they will hook up to your kooks connecting pipes like the factory exhaust. They do not offer headers, you are set with the kooks! Hit up chad at black ops for the GTHaus!

Hi JDR8,

I haven't spent much time on the forum these last few weeks, so I am pleasantly surprised to see that you have a '14 GC SRT... again! Thanks for picking up where you left with your blog, truly "bad ass".

The one thing I somehow regret with my WK1 (which had a Corsa cat-back) and that generates the most comments is the noise, or lack thereof with my new truck in stock fashion. Nothing easier to fix, but I am always careful. Local sensitivity to noise is nowhere near what it is in the US, and I like to be able to go "below the radar" if needed.

Even watching videos GTHaus exhaust in "low" mode (I can't convince myself to call it "silent"), I wonder how subdued it remains, so I am really looking forward to your posts and blog about the new exhaust.

Jan

PS: I spent 2 weeks in Vancouver and on Vancouver Island in 2011, not exactly your neck of the wood but close enough, that's a beautiful part of the world that you live in!

BC is great! I love it here, always beautiful.

I did a quick write up of the exhaust from getting it installed today.

http://www.jeepgarage.org/f97/gt-haus-meinschaft-exhaust-for-2014-wk2-review-70525.html

What I found is that if you drive in auto/ D (not S) the exhaust is quiet unless you step into it, but even then with varying degrees of noise. More you step into it, louder it gets, much like every exhaust.

Driving at 95 kmh/60 mph, is quieter than stock in my opinion.

I'll post videos when able but like Tom had warned me, the videos don't nearly do it justice.
