That would be a major issue for me because a majority of my daily drive is cruising in 8th gear with the MDS active! Is there any way that can be addressed? Would not installing the X-pipes make any difference? Would that then reduce the sound the GT Haus puts out?

No X-pipe effects the sound 100% and the gear your in may be noticeable but does not equate to drone so this is clear.

You'll notice the MDS only as much with the GTHAUS as you already do stock. If it doesn't bug you now, it shouldn't after, either. Really not a big deal.

Re: Gthaus Black Ops Edition

After a little over 2k miles, I'm loving this exhaust system even more. The sound has mellowed out, even in MDS mode. I did a trip to Atlantic City and back to NY last Sunday with no traffic at constant, almost non stop highway speed and was impressed by both the sound and performance. I would recommend this upgrade over and over again.

Who did you wind up using for the install. Did you go to the place on Merrick RD I used?

I ended up going to a tuning shop in NJ because I wanted them to possibly do some other things for me. They did a real good job.
