Gthaus Black Ops Edition

Hi Everyone, I present to you a Christmas treat: the Gthaus Black Ops Edition. I'm by no means a big time modder but I do want subtle things that make for a better ride and higher performance on my SRT. I was very fortunate to be in touch with Chad at Black Ops Auto Works when a discussion came up about a black version of the Gthaus full cat-back. Chad was gracious enough to let me test out the first of it's kind: ceramic coated from factory. Cheers.

Re: Gthaus Black Ops Edition

Sound clips coming tomorrow. I'm sure it's pretty much like other gthaus systems out there. I got the x-pipe and mufflers so it's LOUDER than stock and LOUDER than the stock suitcase h-pipe with Borla Atak. I was initially taken aback by it but it's growing on me and I'm loving it more and more each day. With the cutouts open WOT is such a blast especially in tunnels. Cold starts set off other car alarms in my garage: the growl is amazing! Definitely worth the money!

PS. When cruising, the system is as quiet as stock. No annoying drone... Just a symphony of deep menacing growls.

Best heard on a desktop with speakers loud. First is a start with the cutouts closed then a start with the cutouts open.

Re: Gthaus Black Ops Edition

The vibration when mds kicks in is noticeable. It feels like the jeep's in the wrong gear. It makes sense why our vehicles' oem pipes have butterfly valves to maintain adequate pressure in the pipes when mds is active.

I need to find someone local with a GTHaus exhaust...would love to hear one in person/while driving.
