How are high intake temps affecting your launch control?

Last night was the first time I had used LC. Temp was 168 and it bogged down really bad. My guess is that it was pulling timing. Anyone else notice this?

Are you sure you didn't sit too long with launch control engaged. I did that once or twice when I first used it while sitting at a red light and trying to time it. If you sit for too long and try to take off.. The truck really falls on it's face. I think it's comparable to limp mode when the computer senses a drivetrain issue. Last about 10 seconds then all of the sudden the truck is a screamin beast again. Quite embarrassing too. Truck can't get out of its own way for about 10 seconds no matter how hard you mash the gas pedal.

The intake temps are being monitored before the Throttle body - thats the temp going INTO the intake - Timing is irrelevant at that point.

That's called Torque management and its called a soft launch control - all Mopar's have this, we address this in our Supercharger tune -
