Bwoody FTW, I tried some other stuff, but the bwoody was top, I even had a carbon fiber replica made.

I even painted the original one chrome but took it off because it really heats up, but looked nice lol

I had them matched to the anodized red aluminum. I had my fuse covers matched as well. The engine covers are still being reworked. A little of the paint was peeling up, possibly from oil on the covers. So they are being sanded, sealed, and re painted. I'm told today or tomorrow to have them done. I took a couple shots of them last time I saw them. They look great and can't wait to have them done and installed. Here is a sneak peak.

Something seams up with Photobucket today, not sure why images are not showing or being slow to load. The pic links are in the post though.

Sadly, I have to LOL @ painting fake plastic valve covers

70's Hemis, when you order billet... you get a real Aluminum (polished/painted etc) valve cover.

How are they fake? They are a real tangible piece that can be held in your hands. Instead of black covers they'll be red. What's the big deal?

These are coil covers, and yes they are very real, valve covers are underneath

Looking good mongoose, how about painting the lines and the 6.4 HEMI in mineral grey?

They are fake (ie:imitation, psueudo, replica) of the Original valve covers like these that actually served a purpose:

That is all I'm referring to.

Same thing like the plastic cover on a new 5.7 hemi motor.
