Jeep SRT builds/tuning @ Livernois Motorsports

As promised, I flew out on Monday to work @ Livernois Motorsports on calibrations for the 2012 + Jeep SRT8 ( we have the the older ones there as well but I didn't get a chance to work on them). The one we had in the photos was a 2014. We would like to get our hands on a stock one, as this one had long tubes and a CAI but we got a lot of good info. My main goal here was get some basic info out of it (I was working on Livernois's Charger SRT8 as well which was having idling issues). We were able to squeeze some extra power out of it, another 15rwhp if I recall. I need to get ahold of the dyno graphs for you guys, but none the less it was progress. There are additional things in these later ones that complicate them a bit more then the older ones. We found the stock timing curve wasn't very good, it knocked with stock spark. We also found they prefer to be a bit fat (SRT runs them extremely lean on the low end, which is not uncommon on a variety of calibrations). There is still much on the horizon for these platforms in terms of calibration, parts etc. We have another 2014 coming in soon for a Whipple blower so stay tuned!

Excuse the photo, the hosting was being annoying.

Here is what we achieved with the Red Jeep. That stock curve dip was due to the factory timing curve.

We have proprietary software that allows us to access more tables, and make further changes than available in commercially available software suites for these vehicles. Therefore, at this time, we only offering tuning for this platform through our MyCal.

Re: Jeep SRT builds/tuning @ Livernois Motorsports

Is it a programmer that we can purchase and load and unload tunes with via email or is it something you can only do in person on your dyno?

Re: Jeep SRT builds/tuning @ Livernois Motorsports

The tuners can be purchased from us preloaded with tunes depending on your combo. Typically we like to stick to tried and true combinations if we do an email tune. If you have a custom setup, we have our two in house dynos for dyno tuning. If we have a revision to a tune currently on your programmer, it will automatically update the tuner and load a new tune to it as it is serial number based.

Re: Jeep SRT builds/tuning @ Livernois Motorsports

We have a few tuners available for other platforms which we are hoping to move into the Chrysler market if applicable. Most notably is the split personality tuners for the Fords. Really slick stuff, check it out on our website!

I am here solely for you guys though as we have individual people handling Ford, GM and Chrysler all separately so attention is pretty seamless.

Re: Jeep SRT builds/tuning @ Livernois Motorsports

Cool, I currently run the DS trinity with custom email tunes. Only mods an intake and axle back. Tuning seems to be getting better, slowly but surely. kept it after my 2008 jeep SRT was wrecked and just feel comfortable with it so really never strayed away. Sounds like you have a good thing going.

Re: Jeep SRT builds/tuning @ Livernois Motorsports

I'd like to see the dyno graph after you get a stock one in there to see how much those going tubes help out. 460 on torque is damn good
