As promised, I flew out on Monday to work @ Livernois Motorsports on calibrations for the 2012 + Jeep SRT8 ( we have the the older ones there as well but I didn't get a chance to work on them). The one we had in the photos was a 2014. We would like to get our hands on a stock one, as this one had long tubes and a CAI but we got a lot of good info. My main goal here was get some basic info out of it (I was working on Livernois's Charger SRT8 as well which was having idling issues). We were able to squeeze some extra power out of it, another 15rwhp if I recall. I need to get ahold of the dyno graphs for you guys, but none the less it was progress. There are additional things in these later ones that complicate them a bit more then the older ones. We found the stock timing curve wasn't very good, it knocked with stock spark. We also found they prefer to be a bit fat (SRT runs them extremely lean on the low end, which is not uncommon on a variety of calibrations). There is still much on the horizon for these platforms in terms of calibration, parts etc. We have another 2014 coming in soon for a Whipple blower so stay tuned!
Excuse the photo, the hosting was being annoying.
