Hi ,
I want to mod my 2014 SRT a little bit...currently I'm considering several options, but my favorite one is a full Kooks setup with Green Cats and catback together with a throttle body and a custom tune. I live in Germany and we have pretty strict emission standards and the emissions of the Jeep mustn't be worse than the stock emissions. And therefore I thought the Green Cats should work, because they don't throw a CEL. I know it's possible to cheat the ECU by disabling the sensor behind the cat, but that would be tax evasion in Germany
Can you confirm that with this combination (Kooks headers, Green Cats, Kooks Catback) there is no CEL lighting up?
And what about the sound and loudness? The videos I saw are difficult to assess. I don't like it too loud...only want a nice V8 rumble. What about cabin drone, especially with MDS kicking in? It's my daily driver and it should stay suitable for long-distance driving.
Regarding the loudness, not the sound, is this setup comparable to let's say a Mercedes C63 AMG or is it louder?
Thank you for your help!
