The PCM adjusts for everything.

Re: Kooks LTs and 3" system

I have a 2014 and I am trying to figure out the best combo
I like the full kooks setup with the long tubes and the catback and it looks like it won't throw any codes but I don't know how loud it will be

Would this combo work and would it be louder then the above
Kooks long tube with the connector and stay stock and add the borla atak or if I stayed with the full kooks setup can I add borla atak to that

Would the borla make it louder

Also if I got the kooks setup and chose the no cat option would that throw codes

Re: Kooks LTs and 3" system

If you can wait a week or two I'll have the Kook's green catted with the Borla ATAK. They should have a startup video hopefully. If you go with no cats you'll probably get CEL codes until you can get tuning.

Once your build is done, then I am hoping to go under the knife next... but I am thinking 2" kooks, no cats, and corsa...

Sounds amazing! But unfortunately the headers here will void the warranty, only the cat-back exhaust system is allowed.

Re: Kooks LTs and 3" system

Was a good 4th for me, got an early birthday present ordered: 2" Kooks w/ ceramic coating, non-catted mid-pipe, and Corsa w/ black tips. Supposed to take a few weeks to a month before they get here... Apparently, I am the first to own a set of 2" Kooks per the major WK2 aftermarket suppliers.

I got tired of the anemic sound of the factory exhaust, especially after an brand new bmw m3 sat next to me at a light with dealer plates and a beautiful exhaust note...

Will post pics when they arrive!

Re: Kooks LTs and 3" system

i checked the video, and now am looking only for a catback system, ive seen that kooks r offering it.

problem is i have no idea how the sound is gonna be, if anyone has the catback on only!
inform me.

cuz am having a serious decision, between kooks and corsa.
the only turn off about the corsa r those tiny tips, and the price tag

I been having my kooks cat back system on order for over a month and they still don't have an eta on them. They are redesigning the mufflers from the first run they did because they weren't happy with them. If you want an exhaust now go with Corsa cause they are in stock but you'll pay about $300-500 more than the kooks.

Did you notice any gain in performance? Any good sound clips?
