Take it to an actual track. While that app is cool, it's not very accurate. Trust me, had we posted the app's results instead of what it actually did at the track we could claim we have the first one in the 10's...

See above, the app is not accurate compared to the track.

I am not certain where you get some of this from, I have never talked to someone who jumps to the incorrect conclusion so easily. All I said was that if you wanted to log, it would need a different unit. Likely, we won't need logs, but if we do it's going to be for small things. We have it figured out, so the advanced items we changed in the cal won't need to be logged. The simple basics would be. I am not certain what motivates you to always jump the the wrong conclusion, but we always deliver on what we hype. Just look at our track record across every platform we serve. I'll give you some overviews:

World's quickest 2014 Jeep SRT
World's first 9-second Camaro ZL1
World's First 12-second Explorer Sport
World's First 11 second Taurus SHO
World's First 11-second 2015 Mustang EcoBoost
World's highest HP EcoBoost
World's fastest tune only F150 EcoBoost
World's Quickest tune only CTS V-sport

First to tune 2013 Taurus SHO
First to tune 2013 Explorer Sport
First to tune 2013+ Fusion EcoBoost (2.0, 1.6, and 1.5)
First to tune 2013+ Ford Escape Ecoboost (2.0 and 1.6)
First to independently dyno a hellcat

Not to mention the other services we provide to the industry as we have some more records:

Our cylinder heads are on the fastest 2v, 3v, and 4v Modular ford engines out there

Our hemi engine components are used in NHRA competition

Supplier of parts and services for the Ford Cobra Jet program

Supplier for cylinder head work for the COPO program

Then look at the reach of work we've done to vehicles.

47 states
14 countries
4 continents

That is just where we have had cars shipped from, or to for upgrades to be performed at our facility.

Then look at the fact that we are an OEM supplier on top of all of this

I could understand skepticism if we were a 2-3 bay shop, but we span 36,000 square feet, have 16 install hoists, an additional 6 install bays for a total of 22, 7 CNC machines, 2 chassis dynos (1 portable 2WD, one in-ground AWD) engine dyno, two flow benches, in-house cylinder head, engine build, and product development departments.

there isnt many kits running around at the moment to compare the low temps, but when there are they will eat that time .( as long as its a good kit)
Are you sure about that? I ask because to date the track record has not been very good on modded 12+ Jeeps and their 1/4 mile times. All it took was us building 1 truck to demolish everyone else's times out there. Just imagine what will happen with more of these under our belt.

Re: Livernois's Whipple supercharged 2014 SRT Jeep

I understand that once more kits are worked on the numbers will get even better. I also understand that my time in 48degrees n a SC in 48 degrees would be nothing close. But I don't understand why people keep saying the time on the dash is not accurate.. Took it to Englishtown raceway and when I ran 13.507 my dash said 13.5.. Are we saying it's not accurate because it doesn't have the .507 and just 13.5? Cause that seem pretty accurate to me.

because the minute you get any wheel spin at all the calculations are thrown off. Often times on the street you will get front wheel spin, albeit, minimal but any throws it off.

But wont that make you get worst numbers not better numbers on the app. Cause if the time starts when your wheels start spinning and your not moving then your time will be off. But it wont give you better numbers. or am i misunderstanding what your saying. But like i said i took it to the track as advised and all 3 runs my app was the same. So i dont think saying the app is not accurate is justified. my 2cents..

Ah, but you are comparing the track (which on a stuck truck will never spin) vs. the street (which can spin) when you get wheel spin it counts it as distance traveled, and the rapid acceleration of spinning throws the distance traveled off. Now the oddity is that the 0-60 ignores this spin, but the 1/4 mile calculation does not. This is fairly straight forward as one is a counter that starts the minute it moves and stops the instant you hit 60, where the other one has to look at distance traveled vs. speed at the moment you hit that distance.

I should have taken a picture of the truck we were using, but it showed a 10.97 in the 1/4 vs the 11.8x run it actually had.

Just to follow up here in case others didn't see my build thread, my kit was delivered prior to Thanksgiving and I got it up and running in a few days. Lots of fun:

Re: Livernois's Whipple supercharged 2014 SRT Jeep

You mentioned earlier about the installed package having your one year warranty and then Whipple having a warranty on the SC. Is that only for the SC unit if it were to fail? At this time I was not aware that Whipple was offering a warranty on the 2.9. Has that changed?

Whipple has a warranty on all of their systems. Depending on specifics it could be 1-3 years.

Re: Livernois's Whipple supercharged 2014 SRT Jeep

I bought a full kit directly from whipple (2014 SRT) and they are supplying the tune of course. I have always trusted livernoise as a company and was wondering if there are any differences from their tunes and yours and or their kit and yours.

I probably don't have all of the differences, but this is what I know:
- Livernois uses their own tuner and own tune - it isn't Whipple's.
- Whipple uses the Siemens Deka injectors, whereas Livernois uses Injector Dynamics ID850s.
- Livernois includes their own CAI. (The Whipple unit is included as well).
- Livernois uses a Kenne Bell BAP rather than the one Whipple uses (MSD I believe).

There may be others, but that is what I recall. I went with Livernois because of their reputation with tuning.
