It seams the only meaningful difference then is the tune. Can anyone intelligently comment from experience on the difference in the tunes or methods of tuning of the two companies. Any experience with the whipple tune. They do flash the computer with complete tune I know that. They also state that they have about 25-30 units out there running on streets with no issues

Plus, I do believe Whipple's tune may be a bit more conservative than the Livernois tune. I may be wrong here, we'll wait for Livernois to chime in.

Livernois- How possible is it go get 800 awhp with your kit and a forged motor?

Thank you for the kind words toward us, we definitely pride ourselves on the parts, and work we put out there. As listed below, there are quite a few differences between our kit, and the box stock whipple kit. I will list the additional items below the next quote.

- Whipple uses the Siemens Deka injectors, whereas Livernois uses Injector Dynamics ID850s.
- Livernois includes their own CAI. (The Whipple unit is included as well).
- Livernois uses a Kenne Bell BAP rather than the one Whipple uses (MSD I believe).

There may be others, but that is what I recall. I went with Livernois because of their reputation with tuning.
These are correct, in addition to this we also include our EvenFlo thermostat, and actually use a larger pulley for less boost than the box stock kit comes with.

It would be hard to compare them because so many small things are different. Our tune would not work on their box stock kit, nor would their tune work on our variation.

We haven't seen their tune, but I am certain that we are conservative on everything we produce. Definitely better safe than sorry.

The blower has a max capability near that range, but i feel our upgraded engine, with the right amount of boost would be able to make 750+ on pump fuel. More than that would need to start looking at things like methanol injection, or race fuel.

No I totally agree.
This was no way a shot at you or shop about your tunes at all. I have respect for Livernois.
I should have wrote, I think you'll get more bang for your buck through the Livernois tune. Sorry for the confusion.

That's perfectly fine, We spent a ton of time with the cal on these to really get it sorted out, and it's worked tremendously well. We just finished up the 2012 we were working on as well, so those are supported too now. Now we just need a 13 and a 15
