Agree 100% , but for $300 i think this is a good option for most people.

I would say the sound is very comparable to the borla S at idle and even cruising under light throttle. At heavy acceleration to WOT it's most likely louder but far from obnoxious like someone with QTP Cutouts wide open (not knocking them but that's the "too loud for me") plus you lose HP as opposed to staying consistent with the Mufflex as my videos in the other post show

Does this bypass system void the warranty?

Re: Mufflex Muffler Bypass review

not for me, just dropped mine off at the dealer with a blown exhaust sensor and they are warrantying it even though i have the exhaust. Probably because my dealer is smart enough to know a simple exhaust wouldn't affect that lol

Mufflex Muffler Bypass review

Would these fit on a 2014 GC 5.7L? I know the site says they are for the SRT but would they fit my vehicle? Also if anyone can post videos of them on the 5.7L that would be awesome.

Re: Mufflex Muffler Bypass review

Mine arrived today in Australia in the brown box. Looks good, especially for the money. Thinking about either powder coating them black or hi temp black paint.

Can't fit them as my Jeep is still roughly 3 weeks away from delivery.

What was the delivery time and what's your take on the fit and finish? I'm very interested in these.

19days from initial order to delivery at my door. Actual delivery time was 9 days- which is generally a bit long. Normally takes 6 or 7 days from the States to here in West Oz. Packaging(around) was good on the mufflers and extensions, but they could have used a better quality big box for the shipping. Had 2 tears in the cardboard. No damage due to internal packaging done right.

The welds looks well done and I can see no problems with any of the 4 parts sent and the actual Muffler Tips look the goods.

Re: Mufflex Muffler Bypass review

I just ordered mine.
It is a good solution for people wanting a bit more noise, without the cost of a full system.
