Re: Mufflex Muffler Bypass review

It is weird to see the tip misalignment with the Mufflex...Guess it isn't just a Borla issue.

There are some irregularities in the exhaust piping from the factory. Because the factory tips have room for adjustment it's hard to tell.

Re: Mufflex Muffler Bypass review

I decided to go straight muffler delete and keep the existing tips for a stealthier look. I'm getting it done on Tuesday for $220. I'll keep you guys in the loop.

Thought you were going to keep us in the loop!!

I was going to ask that exact question...what is the difference between the Mufflex setup and just simply having an exhaust shop run straight pipes to the stock tips? The Mufflex pipes don't have any resonators built in that I'm not seeing, do they? $300 for new tips is a bit pricey

Re: Mufflex Muffler Bypass review

Thank you for the review. Could I expect the same results just by deleting the rear mufflers at a exhaust shop and then I could use the factory tips ?
I'm not a fan of the oversized 5 inch tips
