I'm in Chicago too. I couldn't break into the 12's until after I added the aFe Magnum Force Intake.

These Jeeps love the cold air, but summer is a different story. The onboard timer is pretty near accurate after racing at the dragway last summer.

I find these numbers tough to believe. That onboard timer can't be accurate.

Not sure why you find it so hard to believe. Do you have a 2014 SRT? Have you tried running yours? These trucks take very kindly to cold air.

I've run at the track and the only complaint I have is that it rounded up the number because it only records to the 10th of a second. The evic time was within .005 of my timeslip.

If it makes you feel better, the temps were somewhere around 88 degrees and it was my first time running the Jeep. The track prep was awful and my best time was 13.695. The evic showed 13.7. Needless to say I was very disappointed coming from my C63 which was running in the 11's.

As I put more mileage on the Jeep the times seemed to get better and the colder it got the better the times got.

I was getting consistent 4.3/13.3 times and even ran the same day I added the aFe Magnum Force Intake. I saw my time drop to 3.9/12.7 after the intake. Since then I have been consistent with 3.9, but I don't get to run the 1/4 much due to the fact that I don't want to go to jail.

I'll be taking her to the track again in the next couple weeks to see how well she does. I will be happy to keep the 1/4 in the 12's, but I don't know if that will last once it gets warmer out.

With the install of the intake, she doesn't feel like such a pig at the 1/8 mile marker any more.

What mods do you have on your Jeep right now to be running 11.9? Those are some great numbers!

Re: My First 1/4 mile run

bone stock my best 0-60 is 4.4 secs...I just added a Canned 91 tune and will see if that did anything. Can someone post pics of the BWoody full-ram intake installed? Preferably on a 2014...thanks in advance! I need to get an intake and it seems that BWoody is the way to go (was perfect on my 08 5.7L)
