Thanks for confirming that I wasn't the only one having a problem! I honestly don't believe that Corsa even closed the hood on this one before they called it good. I'm waiting to hear how it goes on Monday after they bring an SRT in to install one and troubleshoot, but I'll likely return it anyways. This has kind of left a sour taste in my mouth.

Re: New Corsa Jeep SRT intake

they advised me they have another Jeep coming in on Monday and they will get back with me after they look at it. I'm sure they will get the issue worked out.

Re: New Corsa Jeep SRT intake

I have a feeling Corsa used the same box as the 5.7L Volant intake...it looks extremely similar to the one I had on my 5.7L. This is what someone had to do on another forum to make his 5.7L box fit a SRT.

Re: New Corsa Jeep SRT intake

I guess I'll just keep it in the box until Monday at least to see what they tell you guys. Was Corsa really that lazy/stupid? Waiting this long for the intake to come out then it doesn't fit... Guess if this doesn't work back to waiting on black ops or whatever is next.

I think Volant did all the supposed R&D and Corsa just put their name on it...they are owned by the same company now. Regardless, someone at Corsa/Volant probably had a bad past couple of days and Monday may be even worse for them.

Re: New Corsa Jeep SRT intake

That's pretty bad. My jeep is at afe and the first thing they tried was their momentum box for the 5.7 and it hit the vents.looking good so far with them wanting to make a sealed box just for us SRT guys, will start my own thread though when I get more details and my jeep back on Tuesday

Re: New Corsa Jeep SRT intake

I was searching the forums and came across this post from awhile back on the other jeep srt site. Vortech CAI for WK2 SRT - Cherokee SRT8 Forum (name says Vortech, actually Volant)

Looks like this is the volant/corsa intake and fits a 14 SRT? This is getting even more confusing.

Good find...I'm dumbfounded at this point.

It looks like the area right around the washer fluid fill cap needs to be lower or shaved. Just like the other person did. The box does look exactly like the 5.7 system. The only thing that changed is the tube.

I wonder if the vents were the reason SRT blocked our front intake off and went with the wheel well instead. I have been thinking about buying an Airaid for a 5.7 and seeing if I can make it work. Without the 5.7 factory front scoop the dimensions should match our 6.4. I just might need to punch a hole in the bottom plate to pull more air.

the Corsa nor the Volant box fit my 2014... They both hit however i was able to close the hood with the Volant box but it was in a bind.

Re: New Corsa Jeep SRT intake

I'm still waiting to hear back from the engineer I spoke with at Corsa...they should be scratching their heads right about now if the SRT made it to their shop. I'm not about to stick a box in there that will allow the hood to close, but still binds...these hoods are already super thin as it is. Let me know if you hear anything from them and I'll do the same.
