You can make the corsa intake work. I have one on my jeep. Took a little improvising.

What improvising did you do? I would have had to cut an inch or so off the box and then it would have been open to the engine bay...I wasn't about to cut the hood supports.

I had to notch the top and the bottom. Filled with plastic weld and painted. ImageUploadedByTapatalk1423847474.174059.jpg

Nice, so you did, months ago, what the corsa "engineers" still have not been able to do today. So their intake was a disaster. There exhaust doesn't fit right and is a bitch to center up. Do they do anything well at this point?

Re: New Corsa Jeep SRT intake

14-15s are the same. So I'd imagine you will need to cut it to make it work.

Mod came out neat! Does the enclosure really help with intake temps? Would you do it again or just go with another intake?

I picked it up at summit racing.. It was on the clearance rack for $130. I explained to situation to them about the recall (due to not fitting the SRT's) and offered them $50 for it. They took it, so for the price, yes I'd definitely do it again. It has helped a ton with IAT's. When I'm traveling, I am normally 3-5* above ambient. At idle, I am between 12-15* above ambient. This intake will be for sale soon as I decided to go F/I on my wk2.

I'll give you $35 for it, as I hear it's been recalled.

You are saying when the car is fully up to temp, and sits idling for awhile, that your IAT's only go to 15F above ambient and stays there? That's insane if so...the aFe will go to nearly 100F above ambient if left at idle for 5 or so minutes if the car is fully to temp.
