Re: powdercoated Borla ATAK system installed!

Did they use regular powder coating or high temp? I talked with a plater and he asked me this question.

Re: powdercoated Borla ATAK system installed!

Amazon has it cheaper ($660) but they say delivery is 1 to 3 months. I ordered 1 last week and it already arrived. There's another thread in this section that I started. I paid $673.

Re: powdercoated Borla ATAK system installed!

Is there any audio files on Jeep Garage that compares the stock vs. Borla ATAK system?

If they are already posted I apologize.

Re: powdercoated Borla ATAK system installed!

I had mine done in "high temp" black powder coat. The guy said it costs $28 per pound and he figured two pounds. He charged me $175. He did some car exhaust manifolds three years ago and they still look brand new so I'm not worried about any discoloration.

Scott,

Curious that with the Borla, when the MDS kicks in and the tone changes, there's a slight drone. I'm curious if anyone out there who has the Corsa gets a noticeable tone change when MDS kicks in.
