Putting the RAM in BWoody's Ram Air

Where exactly is it that BWoody's ram air terminates?

Directly behind the blank in the air dam? If so, has anyone tried cutting the blank out to increase cold air flow into the bumper? Unnecessary?

It terminates behind the lower grill ring on the drivers side. It's open pretty much.
