SRTguy, what PSI are you pushing at WOT? What were your final dyno numbers? I wouldn't expect a better MPG, you'll be heavy into that throttle with your new found power.

Sorry for lack of response, my Mom was diagnosed with cancer in December and underwent emergency surgery for it and is struggling and so my priorities have shifted recently from car to family.

BUT this forum isn't about some of our less than perfect lives, it's all about Jeeps, so with that being said:

The roadtrip went extremely well! We took from DFW, TX to our first destination of Savannah, Georgia on the coast. I drove the entire way. Ran across a Camaro v-8 that wanted to race and showed him the tail lights up to 125 mph then slowed down due to being on unfamiliar roads. The RIPP Supercharger kit pulls strongly at speed on the highway and I don't think he expected an SUV to pull at speed into triple digits. My fuel economy was less than stellar because I simply couldn't keep my foot out of the throttle and punched it everytime I got a chance. It's an SRT, so that is fine with me, my other car gets 40 MPG. The BOV on the supercharger is loud when u get into/off the throttle, and I turned heads across the country constantly with the Jeep itself, wrap that's done on it, and the engine and RIPP kit noise, which was my intention from day one. 😁 One thing I really liked about the kit is that under partial throttle, very little is different than the stock feel of the SRT. Once you get into the throttle, everything changes! Being a centrifugal supercharger, the higher your RPM's, the more power you make, it never runs out of steam and pulls insanely till red line. Once we hit W. Virginia, temps dropped below freezing and it started snowing. It snowed through Ohio and the weather was cold for days. No issues at all for the kit in cold weather to all my Northern bro's. If anything the car pulled harder and was more responsive in freezing temps! These Hemi's love cold air! Our family's told us they had never seen a Jeep like this, especially when we popped the hood and showed them the custom paintwork under the hold and Supercharger with painted piping as well. As a matter of fact, we never once saw another Jeep SRT of any year at all on our trip which was disappointing!!! If we weren't on such a schedule we would have msg'd some of ya'll to meet. Maybe next time! We made it back to Texas problem-free the entire way. I think this says a lot about the kit and ease of integration with it. I will be less active on here for a while, but I hope 2015 is an even better for everyone and their Jeeps!!

Wow bro, sorry about the bad news. Hope she can overcome it. Thanks for your in depth review as there are a bunch of us with this kit in our SRT plans and it seems like whenever someone pops these kinds of mods they just disappear on us. Probably just having to much fun. Keep us posted on any track/ street runs and gas mileage. (helps us sell it to the wife)

Thats not safe. Don't need more family members in the hospital.

Hope your Mom recovers.

Just purchased a GC SRT and want to SC it also. I found your thread informative. I have one question, is MDS still available once the GC is SC?

Re: RIPP Supercharger Install on my 2014 Jeep SRT

I've been eyeing this set-up even before purchasing my 2015. With cast internals and hollow valve stems, I am a little worried about how much punishment this stock 392 engine can sustainably hold. Is there a "magic" amount of boost (~4psi) and limited HP we should be putting on these stock internals? If I plan to strap a SC on, I should probably drop in some new rods and pistons, install some ARP's and install some better valves too.

Looking forward to your continuous updates and my thoughts and prayers go out to you and your family.
