RIPP Superchargers 2012-2014 SRT Stage 1 Testing results

I love what Ripp have done, and with no disrespect to them, its kinda false advertising to only quote RWD figures on an AWD car.

Someone else mentions 15%-17% loss in RWD mode, in AWd mode that's more like 25%-30%. So a 25% AWD driveline loss equates to 460 odd HP if you use the numbers above.

Same here.. They mostly work on Jeeps 4x4 and AWD anyway.. So having AWD dyno makes more sense. And would give true numbers for work done.. From what I've been reading there is a big difference between doing the dyno the way the car will be driven to doing it RWD

My Durango is at Ripp for work, Ross drove me home, and i don't think i've ever seen a SUV go fast like Ross's SRT. Hit 100 like there was nothing to it!

I love the work, clean, mean and something I'm considering....

Might be a stupid qn but I'm assuming with the charger at 5psi the running gear can handle it?
Wouldn't want sh1t breaking a few thousand kms after an install.

Re: RIPP Superchargers 2012-2014 SRT Stage 1 Testing results

Went to Ripps shop last a week. Spent well over an hour there with Ross the owner and got a tour of the shop and a test drive in his 2014 Jeep SRT with the kit installed. Nothing but good things to say. Good people and awesome product. Fit and finish on the kit was excellent and keeps the stock like appearance. Performance is ridiculous. Everybody tends to call their rigs a beast. It's not truly a beast unless you have one of these kits installed. Needless to say I have one preordered and hope to pick it up before the end of the month and install it with it friend. Will give updates once I get to that point if anyone is interested.

Great feedback! Very interested in this. I'm in Manhattan next week and may try to arrange to visit them. Live in Harrisburg, PA right now but would drive my Jeep to their shop if they could do the install.

Re: RIPP Superchargers 2012-2014 SRT Stage 1 Testing results

Highly recommend stopping by and checking it out if your in the neighborhood. Just don't take up too much of his time or my kit will take longer to get done...lol. They have a small shop but do installs. Matter of fact he has another forum members 5.7 Durango there getting the kit installed. My plan is to do install myself as I'm a DIY guy and install looks pretty straight forward. Then I'm gonna drive back up to Ripp and check everything with some dyno time.
