I find it difficult to believe that changing your tuning and putting on a supercharger which will damn near affect every aspect of your car won't void your warranty.
It depends - Adams Jeep of Maryland installs RIPP Superchargers off the show-room floor and into the price of the vehicle. So does Orange County Jeep in Cali...

So - its depends if the dealer is mod friendly.. We do agree thou, most dealers are point and shoot when it comes to any mod.

There are two dealers that install superchargers here in my town. Right up front they say it voids your warranty, but they will do the work. I'm not trying to bring a negative light on your product. I will probably buy it myself but with the understanding that it will most likely void my warranty. If it doesn't, great but that's the sacrifice you sometimes have to make on new cars when you mod them. And as I said in my previous post, most these guys are getting shit from their dealers about simple bolt on mods let alone a supercharger with tuning. It looks like you have a great product but I think people should be aware that it is a very real possibility it will void their warranty.

We agreed with you - it should be implied that it will and rightfully should...

What we are saying is, we have a very good reputation in the Wrangler circles and very seldom do you hear of a guy going to the dealer and losing their warranty just pulling in with our products. Its based on the circumstances, if you go in for a power window or a rattle, they shouldn't and couldn't blame the SC'r. If you go in with a blown drive train - as adults we should consider removing the SC for purposes of warranty....

Would we all agree - no dealer is that cool... but the ones we named work with us and have helped more than one client. However, that's under the express understanding that you bought the products at their dealership where they have control. That's just the two we pointed out in the Wrangler circles, there are more than two dealers that are that cool among them...

We'll have to see how the SRT Dealers are - we assume less cool based on the nature of the vehicle, but you never know, they could see the RIPP brand and be cool with it.

I was under the impression that we were just talking about motor and drive train warranty not BSR (buzz, squeak rattle). You are correct, it wouldn't negate your warranty for fit issues or rattles. Simply put any mod that directly affects a warranty issue will not be covered. That is how it was put to me when I asked my service guy. Simple solution if in doubt, call and ask.

Yes - but we're not sure how you want us to answer this - Launch control is a torque management system. We assume the programming will correct the output as it was pre-programmed from the factory.

I understand the fit will be the same, I'm curious about the programming that the 2012-2013s will need since they are different from the 2014s. From what I understand, there are even differences between the 2012 and 2013 programming.

Thanks for the link!

Maybe we'll invite a 2012/13 GC in house for an install and verify - According to our sources the ECU logic is the same.

Stopped by OC Motorsports this afternoon and talked to Dan. Quoted approx $1000 to install and they're less than 2miles from where I live... Hmmm...

They are a great shop - they've installed many of our Wrangler kits and can easily install the SRT kit. $1000.00 is very fair for the work that's involved, its not hard per-say, but its tedious and detail orientated.
