I was told friday I would get some info to share with everyone today. I just wanted to post this up so we can see it here first. I'll post it up as soon as I have it. I know what it is but I can't say until I'm giving the GO from my guy in Detroit LOL. Sorry for the tease hold tight:thumbsup:

Re: Something NEW!!

Can you tell us what it might be refering to? Please tell me they saw that the reviews suck on the new SRT's exterior and rims and their bringing back the aggressive look and center mounted exhaust as an option. :):):):)

Re: Something NEW!!

Or maybe Black Ops has been tasked with being the "Saleen of Mustangs" to the Jeeps. I think Bad Ass creations would emerge!

whatever, chad. We all know you're not actually a real person. Stop pretending like you have Detroit connections.

........... take THAT!

I hate to be negative but I don't like the bugle look of the exhaust tips. I really wish it would have been the standard 3" circular exhaust tips rather than a poser 4" musical instrument looking thing. If I get one those tips will be the first thing that gets "fixed".

Yeah the rear of the truck is begging for some aggressive styling. Wheels are an easy fix if you have $ obviously haha. The front/side lines looks sleek and sexy while still aggressive so those Im good with. Rear needs more sharp lines and some bulging of sorts, something to take that soccer mom feel away.

I think the WK SRT rear was good looking, center exhaust would help the WK2, an aggressive diffuser, and maybe and a wider ass and beefier tires on there :) Also liked the WK SRT's rear fogs the ones on the WK2 suck!!!

I dont get all the talk of the rear needing more??????? Its totally different from the 2011 nonSRT. Put the pics side by side to compare them! The only difference in the wkSRT and the wk rear bumper are the very small louvers at the bottom of the bumper!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This bumper is the same way! This WK2SRT is no different than the wkSRT. Take the hate blinders off guys...the SRt group stuck with what theyve done before!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

heres a little comparison so people can see it while they type :)

too rounded, missing center tips, taillights on tailgate = no thanks, chrome license plate holder or w/e thats called is horrible looking, only thing i kinda like is the spoiler and im still iffy on that

This is the bestial rear end i like :) (dont read into that too much lol) Squared off, lights look good, everything is centered around those tips, much more appealing to the eye if you ask me.

my point was the rear wksrt bumper was NOTHING but a slightly modified wk bumper. The rear hatch, tails etc etc. of the WKSRT was the exact same. Also...they had to make changes...no one but a bunch of idiots like us....even liked the wk-wksrt. I admit it...the stock wk is a ugly vehicle and the wkSRT is a just a gussied up wk....with a huge engine. Same with the wk2 SRT.....but now the public actually thinks it nice....cause it is.

X2 I hated the WK so much I held on to my WJ. I think the WK SRT8 was a nice improvement but not enough to make me buy one. I love the WK2 grands but I'm not head over heals for the new SRT8. As mentioned above is is very rounded... even more so than the standard truck.

I'm still up in the air I guess. I don't think I love it enough to drop $50k on it.

I had a 98 ZJ that I bought new. I test drove a 99 WJ and hated it. My parents got a 2004 WJ, but even with the new sway bar I bought for them, it's not a great ride. I waited until 05 to get a WK, love the looks and the way it drives and I always got/get compliments on it.

Some cars take time to become familiar and grow on you! When the original Ford Focus was replaced I thought it was bland but I came to see the better car it was over time. The Nissan Micra has just been replaced and after seeing a few I am warming to it. The first time I drove a WK Laredo, it did not feel so much like a Jeep to me, more car like to drive compared with a WJ. The WK2 SRT8 will do the same I would suggest, as that becomes more familiar, it's called evolution. It is the vehicle I am waiting for if it becomes available over here.

WAIT WAIT WAIT! Who the heck though the WK SRT was ugly? I thought everyone took well to its initial release? Ahhh I dont know, I love it and still do, they captured that aggressive look and kept the Jeep SUV look, hit the nail on the head if you ask me, and the FIRST time.

Either way; all will be known in time. We'll see how this one sells, getting good reviews so far, lots of people seem to like it, I know I do. Not enough to say more than the WK but enough that Id buy it without a test drive or anything lol :)
