SRT WK2 Owners Upgraded Exhaust

Hi Guys,

I curious to see what Exhaust did everyone upgraded to and happy with. I think this poll can help everyone including myself to decided which exhaust to go for.

For some owner that have customs exhaust or other brands that I don't know of to comment? Thanks

Re: SRT WK2 Owners Upgraded Exhaust

My personal experience:
1st I removed center suitcase and replaced with x pipe , just to put it back to stock the next day, FAIL
2nd Corsa catback, nice sound awful drone so awful my wife refused to be a passenger or drive the jeep FAIL
3rd Borla ATAK very nice sound at high revs , not as loud as I wanted during idle
4th Borla ATAK with exhaust valves welded open, a little louder than before, drone was not that bad, livable and this is the setup I had for over 6 months
5th GThaus catback, hands down the best exhaust system I've ever had, beleive or not there is almost zero drone in open mode at hwy speed, it is loud when I want it to be. I wish it was louder at idle, lol thats why I'm getting headers. Imo borla atak may be the best option if you dont want a full cb exhaust, just my personal opinion

Louder than stock, but not annoying....I think its pleasant...hard to describe a sound as everyone has a different opinion of the sound they are seeking

Drone was terrible and mpg was affected big time, the Jeep was very sluggish as well, I know a forum member had an ARH X-pipe + Borla Atak and was very satisfied with it, I only experimented with X-pipe + stock mufflers

It was a custom made X-pipe , from a "reputable" muffler shop in my area, I don't have it anymore, idk what the problem was but the Jeep was not drivable after this mod, I had to put the center suitcase back on the next day.

Yeah I have the Borla Atak cat back exhaust on my 14 Jeep SRT and am loving the sound of it. I am now on the hunt for a decent set of headers to give it that extra kick. Leaning towards either the Kooks or American Racing headers but am still undecided...

Borla ATAK on my 14 GC SRT and love it! Great sound all around and no drone! Best option for the money as it is a daily drive vehicle.
