Thermostat

I had installed a jet 180 degree t-stat and it never did work. After seeing tempsin the 230 to 240 range I decided to change it out for a Mishimoto 180. WOW it was nice seeing how this should work. my temps this morning driving to work were 188 and sitting in a parking lot for about 5 min they were 201 degree. I did notice a big difference in the quality of the T-stat also.

Just my 2 cents you get what you pay for. photo below is with the Jet.

I have the Jet as well...no issues so far.

You may have got a bad one (it happens). It's happened to me twice (past vehicles)

I *always* check mine before install...some water, a thermometer, microwave, and a glass container is all it takes to verify that it opens (and closes) at the proper temp. A penny of water and electricity will save you an hour of re-install later.

Re: Thermostat

Can you run the 180 on a stock setup or does it require a tune?
