Really?? It seems like the Borla S was pretty mild from what the "kiddo's" have said here. Good thing you didnt go with the ATAK, some guys think the ATAK wasnt loud enough haha! Im not that old, but loud is fun for about a week for me and then Im done with it. If it was a Stang, Vette, Chally etc.. I could stand a little more, but to roll around in my everyday ride, I just cant put up with the loud BS.

Are you sure you're not hearing the CAI....those things are loud man.

No, it the BORLA S, I had the Hennessy for a few weeks before I got the Borla delivered and installed. I love the sound, it's actually perfect, but to introduce any more sound would be too much for my everyday driving.

I'm gonna give the TB a chance pretty soon....

Hmmm. Is it a cabin drone from the MDS or is it just loud in the cabin all the time?

I dont think the new Throttle body will make a sound difference since its just a few mm larger

Yeah, its primarily the drone sound resonating through the cabin that get a bit much depending on who's in the car (the mother-in-Law should be fun...). I just ordered the polished TB from Modern Muscle, so I guess I'll see first hand if this mod increases the noise factor.

All in all I love the mod and think the pros out weigh the cons by a long shot.

85mm TB Installed!

Just installed the 85 mm throttle Body. In conjunction with the Hennessy CAI and Borla exhaust there is a noticeable improvement in throttle response and punch.

Happy with the modification!

Re: thinking about a ported TB....

I talked to modern muscle(chris) yesterday and fastman. MM will have the 2013 ported TB's available this week sometime. They recommended the 87mm TB for me.

Hmmmm, My research led me to the 85mm due to the fact that additional tuning was recommended (beyond CAI and exhaust) if I wanted to move up to the 87mm.

Are you expecting improved performance with the 87mm? And what other mods do you intend to do under the hood?

BTW the polished Modern Muscle TB looks great, I highly recommend it!

Re: thinking about a ported TB....

yes...especially with the diablo coming very soon. I plan to eventually go all out with performance. Right now I plan on adding the diablo with a cmr tune to go along with my hennessey intake, borla atak and soon 180 tstat etc.

I know this is a dead horse issue, but is there an ETA for the delivery of the latest Diablo tune?

Looking forward to your feedback after install. Wondering if its gonna be worth the extra cash???

Re: thinking about a ported TB....

I would guess the next couple weeks for the diablo tuning. They have the codes...its just adapting it to the Jeep.

I hope so.....
