Re: Varex mufflers

The Xforce cat back for the SRT does not appear to use the Varex adjustable mufflers. I think they only offer the Varex muffler as a universal application that would require just purchasing two mufflers and the controller kit.

Re: Varex mufflers

Yes, that's their straight set-up for our Jeep if you want a cat-back. I think I'll get this cat-back, experiment with it. Then I can just add the Varex mufflers later if these mufflers don"t cut it, but at least I'll have the cat-back to start with.
Scott, killer price and I can't refuse. I'm shocked not many videos on the web on Jeeps or people talking about it, maybe bc it's an Aussie Co and they might not market the US, I dunno??

Re: Varex mufflers

I spoke Capristo on Friday and waiting to hear back from Germany. Their valves work off of the actual pressure of the exhaust not a remote. You can watch all your pressure numbers on your screen. Pretty cool stuff.

Wow, I'm interested in what you hear back, let us know. Capristo is one BA exhaust also.

Thanks I will. When I mentioned Gt Haus they went on to say that their exhaust are all produced in their factory in Germany not outsourced. Their exhaust also have three modes from what he told me. Touring, sport and something else. I will get more info if they are still in production.

I will also try and get in contact with x-force to see if we can get them cheaper for you guys. I do apologize for referring to the AFE as the x force when its indeed the Machforce.

Re: Varex mufflers

Thank you. Can you find out which exact Varex will work best for the SRT and still use the stock tips? https://www.summitracing.com/search?...d=Vmk%2052-300

I'm torn between ordering the full cat back XForce or just the Varex. If I had more clarity on exactly which one works, I'd purchase now. I just haven't looked into it enough yet.

So I stumbled across the Xforce Varex mufflers that are valved and I have since been considering simply swapping out the aFe mufflers for the Varex mufflers so I can have the best of the flowing exhaust but now with control similar to GThaus but at a fraction of the cost.

I also admit being confused between the aFe Mach Force and Xforce as I thought they were one in the same.

On a separate thread I learned that another SRT is running the Varex VMK52-300 mufflers and is very happy with the sound.
any drone on close mode ?

Re: Varex mufflers

Just ordered two varex mufflers with the smart box Bluetooth controller. Hoping it solves my issue of wanting to be quiet in the mornings when leaving so I don't wake the kids / neighborhood with headers and center muffler delete.
