Alignment Issue

I have noticed that a lot of WK2 SRT8 Jeeps look like they have negative camber. I noticed today while changing out my grille that the insides of my tires are getting pretty bald. I have only had the car for a month. Is this a common problem? Or is it just coincidence? Mine definitely needs an alignment.

Re: Alignment Issue

For such a high performance suv I would think the tires should have extra on them but not to the point where u can see the tire getting destroyed also depends on ur air pressure on ur tires what are they at

I'm going to guess and say ur tires are over filled with air to the point that are ballooned and with the extra camber the tire is getting alot of contact to one side then the other

Re: Alignment Issue

Negative camber is normal to a certain extent. If you have any doubts, I would get it realigned just to check. did you buy new or used. If used, may have had lowering springs.

Re: Alignment Issue

yep,....these have some negative camber built in...but sounds like you have some excessive camber. Simple alignment will tell you more.

Re: Alignment Issue

Thanks. Gonna try to get it in for an alignment soon. I want to put 22's on at some point, but not if the tires wear that bad.
