Brake Dust FML

Just bought a WK2 SRT about 2 weeks ago has 17,000 miles so I'm assuming still has stock pads. The brake dust is unbelievable, and driving me nuts! I always keep my cars/trucks very clean at all times. After washing my rig, within 2 days the brake dust is all over the front rims, back isnt as bad. Anyone else have this issue, if so what brand of pads fixed this issue?

Re: Brake Dust FML

Yep. Just the way the brembo pads are. Some people have switched over to ceramics.

Re: Brake Dust FML

I have seen a few people move to the hawk pads for the fronts and stoptech for the rear. I do not believe that the stoptech had a pad that fit the front. There should be a thread or two on this topic.

Re: Brake Dust FML

Appreciate it, any vendor you recommend for the hawks and stoptechs?

Re: Brake Dust FML

I would hit up Chad at Blackopsautoworks. I'm pretty sure at one point he was selling them and is a standup guy.
