Been a busy 2 weeks for me with the holidays, work etc. Ive finally got my brake and suspension work done! First the brake work...
I went with the Brembo Sport cross drilled rotors and Hawk HPS performance street pads on the front...and Brembo Sport cross drilled rotors and Stoptech pads on the rear. Part Numbers
Brembo cross drilled rotors front-33S50217
rear-33S50218
front pads- Hawk HPS-HB649F.605
rear pads-Stoptech-309.10530
I can report oem braking power with less dust so far! 0 noice, squeaking etc.

^ braking is the same as these are OEM Brembo pads. I'm sure with Hawk pads there would be almost zero dust. I still have dust it's just a lot less than with the non drilled rotors.

I got the Hawk HPS pads last week and still waiting for drilled Brembo rotors, I decided to fix the pads and check them with factory rotors, I can say the efficiency of hawks pads with factory rotors are same but with less dust and no noise, will update you when I install the brembo drilled rotors, for the rear I will go with brembo slotted to try.
I bought them from CARID, they ship overseas for cheap. Anyway from my experience I would stick with the OEM rotars. Breaking power is better with OEM set, just the problem is the dust.
Just changed front and back brake pads. They were almost worn down to the metal at 17500 miles. I knew exactly what to get thanks to the suggestions on this thread. Thanks everyone for sharing your experiences.
Mechanic told me it's ideal to change my rotors with every pad swap. Is that accurate?
Yes 100% that's the correct way unless you pull the truck off the lot and put them on. Also Stoptech and Hawk will not warrantee or even entertain any complaints or questions regarding squealing with an install on old stuff Just a FYI for anyone! Good question!!!! Thanks
