I got the Hawk HPS pads last week and still waiting for drilled Brembo rotors, I decided to fix the pads and check them with factory rotors, I can say the efficiency of hawks pads with factory rotors are same but with less dust and no noise, will update you when I install the brembo drilled rotors, for the rear I will go with brembo slotted to try.

Just changed front and back brake pads. They were almost worn down to the metal at 17500 miles. I knew exactly what to get thanks to the suggestions on this thread. Thanks everyone for sharing your experiences.
Mechanic told me it's ideal to change my rotors with every pad swap. Is that accurate?

Yes 100% that's the correct way unless you pull the truck off the lot and put them on. Also Stoptech and Hawk will not warrantee or even entertain any complaints or questions regarding squealing with an install on old stuff Just a FYI for anyone! Good question!!!! Thanks
