This thing is fueled by a pissing match and honestly it's pretty simple for me and I've explained what it will take for me why support something that don't support me?

YOU guys dont understand.....THERE IS NO PISSING MATCH! See this---- www.cherokeesrt8.com ---------- is that blocked? NO! As far as that douchbag Rambit saying we were "mining" members.....LOL How does he think almost ANYONE finds about about ANYOTHER site on the net? Most referrals come from other forums!!! How do you think I found out about www.cherokeesrt8.com? Someone PMed me on another site and said..."Hey bro...check out cherokeesrt8.com! He can get off his high horse and get a f'in life!

Re: drop springs......

Heyyy nice to see ya!

They where mentioned to me at the NYAS by the head of suspension and driveline for SRT. I'll send off an email and see what kind of info I can dig up as far as the publics availability.

I do however as you know have my own drop springs coming also since I just found out about the Mopar Thursday and my ball was already rolling.

Re: drop springs......

I'm in agreement with Chad on this. I was warned not to mention his name on the RED site nor to direct any of it's members to him. That seems like a cheap and envious move on Rambit's part. I do check out the RED site looking for info that might not have made it here, but I dont come here and post it. It is my opinion that we all come to view these sites for info fro others and give info. If a site is public you should within reason be able to post what you feel like it. Just my rant..

P.S. Chad is the MAN when it comes to making our trucks look and perform better.

X10 Million on this.... Especially about Chad's contributions.

I don't have a business doing car stuff and I wanted to get some people together to do a custom exhaust tip that was a factory replica, but only in 5". They wanted me to become a vendor on something I was trying to do for the Jeep community. Not my personal gain.
So I received a couple warnings, but eventually worked it through another vendor, but it is aggrevating to see people claiming CherokeeSRT8 is about helping members and their Jeeps, when it is totally not. It's about money and that is all.
JeepGarage only wants to facilitate members helping members. Not members helping the bottom line.

Back on Topic...No joke after running at Lime Rock Park yesterday, I told BostonDMD that his jeep needed about 2" of drop to make it absolutely killer on the track. It was just a bit to high on the tight curvy track and BostonDMD is an absolute animal on the track. Kudos to his driving skills.

Mongoose9400 is an unknown quantity at this point
Mopar's Facebook had details up on the drop springs, yet no mention of the Jeep. Just L cars.

??

They are.coming.....patience. The L cars is a good indication. Do you think they're gonna build lowering springs for the L's and not the wk2?!

Re: drop springs......

have seen pic of lowered silver WK2 on WK1 22's. Do.....not.....like. When dropped, the bigger/bubblier design of the WK2 is accentuated even more and looks like a big body vehicle riding on too small of a tire/wheel design.

I saw that too and agree with not liking the looks. However, that was due to the tire/drop combination. The tire was far too low of a profile (overall diameter was shorter than stock) and because of that, the drop was too big. A tasteful drop with the right tire will look great. On the Jeep given to the Ferrari guys, I think it looks great with the stockers powder coated.
