Waiting!!! Noticed that the height changes side to side, thinking it has to do with the adjustable suspension. It can be up to 1/2" difference. Still happy with it though.

Re: drop springs......

That's what the dealer told me they had to do and that's what took so long. I'm thinking it was the stabilizer bar had to be taken off and it runs across the top of tank. But, I'm just guessing. Really don't know why.

I've been trying to figure it out as well. I've just looked at those underbody shots of the WK2 looking for the reason to drop the tank. Haven't seen anything yet. Maybe I gotta crawl under the Jeep on of these days. Or see what Scott figures out when he installs his.

Did you actually do this drop, and if so was it worth the hassle?

If so any pics?

Re: drop springs and lowering rear only question...

Has anyone on this site done this drop yet?

I'm also curious if anyone has done or even considered just lowering the rear end to balance the SRT out? I wonder what the combination of the stock front springs would do in conjunction with the aftermarket rears?

Are we looking at a recipe for disaster, or would this work?

(suspension guru's may reply, all others please keep your guesses to yourself!)

Thanks!

I've seen this done. Seems to work well.

Re: drop springs...... Pics???

I know this is asking a lot, but I wonder if anyone has taken pics of this drop (either both front and rear, or just rear) on a NEW 2012 or 2013 SRT8?

Not interested in seeing another lowered older 2010 SRT!

thanks!
