EBC (USR) Ultimax Slotted Rotors

Has anyone tried the EBC Ultimax slotted rotors? I have run them before on other non-performance vehicles and had no issues, but I haven't read of anyone trying their rotors that fit the SRT. Price is about 1/3 the cost of the Brembo slotted rotors....about $125/pair at a few online retailers.

Re: EBC (USR) Ultimax Slotted Rotors

No I haven't BM but seriously - cheaper doesn't always mean better & I didn't take the risk when I made the decision to buy the Brembo cross drilled items in the end , the SRT is a big classy brute & I wanted to it justice
I nearly went with the R1 Concepts slotted & drilled - these are great value & I can recommend these to you 100% , I had them on my V10 Touareg

Just my 2 cents brother that's all

Re: EBC (USR) Ultimax Slotted Rotors

Yes, the Brembo rotors are nice, even though I have read that they are made in China. Does the box confirm this?

Also, not sure they are $400+/pair nice...just looking for some viable alternatives. Kind of like how people run Hawk, EBC or PowerStop pads in place of the OEM Brembos.

I'll probably order a pair of the EBCs for the front just to compare them to stock and see how the machining looks on them. FWIW, they are made in the UK and R1 sells the EBC.

EBC does make another sport rotor, which can be had for slightly under $300/pair...

Re: EBC (USR) Ultimax Slotted Rotors

No probs BM - my advice is to at least contact R1 Concepts if you aren't keen on the top shelf Brembo items ...... and do your SRT righteous , it's worth the extra coin given the seriously brutal HP that you have behind the rotors
Again just my dime's worth

Just ordered a Front and Rear set. $225 shipped for both.. Thats cheaper then centrics.. No tax and got a rebate as well. Thanks for the heads up. I have maybe 2k miles on my brembos! but i have spare rotors already!

Re: EBC (USR) Ultimax Slotted Rotors

just throwing it out there... but this is definitely a price mistake. The other USR rotors for the 3.6L and 5.7L engines are atleast double the asking price of the SRT rotors.

The only rotors that R1 has for our rides are the Ebc rotors I've linked above.
