Re: Eibach - HELP!!!

Had the SAME exact issues across the board on my 14 Was a major pain. Parking sensors stopped working and adaptive cruise and just straight cruise control also. Had to bring it to the dealer and pull my service advisor aside and told him I lowered it. They farted around with it for a couple days but fixed it. I believe it was some sort of ABS switch or some shit. My buddy has a 14 and lowered it. Having same issues. Good luck bro

Hmm. Now I'm wondering if I should just by pass the independents and go straight to the dealer....

Re: Eibach - HELP!!!

Ur going to have to. Dealt with it for two weeks plus wasting time when every shop said they could fix it then when they got into it it was the same story. 14 has diff software we can't do anything. Just pull ur advisor aside and tell him what's up but u don't want it on record u lowered it so it doesn't screw with your warranty. Good luck keep me in loop

Re: Eibach - HELP!!!

Now I need to find a mod friendly service adviser. The guys at River Oaks didn't seem open minded. I just told him I had an alignment done at an independent shop and he immediately said well that won't be covered then. I'm afraid to go back there now. Maybe Helfman (same owner, different management) will be better.

Any Houston guys know of mod friendly dealers?

Yes, I am going to talk and offer a gift to the head shop tech at my local dealer. Ask if they will do the entire job! I know I will pay more, but as long as it is done correctly its worth it.

I've had my 14 since 4/20/13. I drove it for about a month before I installed the aggressive drop road magnets. I've had zero issues since that time. Just make sure you get someone qualified to do the work. I'm lucky that my dealer has a guy who does nothing but install aftermarket parts. Sounds like damn nightmare if you get someone not familiar with the 14s.

Re: Eibach - HELP!!!

Appointment made for the 6th. Dealer confirmed springs don't affect warranty. I already knew this but feel more comfortable hearing it from their mouth.

Unfortunately I am going to miss great track weather this Friday.

Re: Eibach - HELP!!!

That's the way I'm going. Straight to the dealer. Again I know the cost will be higher but it is worth the money to save the nightmares..

Here's what I was told by my service guy. The aftermarket part you are installing has to be the direct cause, or directly affect a warranty issue for it not to be covered. So if you install a cold air intake and your tranny blows, it's still should be covered because the intake would not be the cause.

Re: Eibach - HELP!!!

Well? Did the dealer get the problem worked out?

Everything is all better now. Jiffany (my Jeep's name) is running like a champ. All of your advice was sound. It was a rear ABS sensor on the driver's side. The dealership replaced it under warranty.

To anyone on the fence about a drop, just be aware of this potential problem and don't freak out like I did. Everything is fine and aside from a little hassle it's an easy fix.

Either the shocks were wrong in the box or someone did something weird on install...

Hope the shop and fix it... May require you to go back to stock to have them fix, but at least that way you can get back to a flat rock and the. Make the changes...

GOOD luck!
The towing is suppose to remain the same with the Eibach kit.
