Installing 5.0 Hawk pads later... Tool question

Hello,

Never had the SRT apart before. No problems on my end with brakes with knowledge, etc..

Just wanted to know if there are any special sockets needed to pull off the calipers or any special instructions involving the Brembo Caliper?

Thanks in advance.

Pads slide out like cartridges. You will only need small long thin punch, a hammer, a socket wrench and a tool to compress the pistons in the caliper. Few pics below

Thanks for the info. I am assuming I will still have to pull the caliper to drive the piston back in like any other brake job I have done?

I see in the one pic you are using one of those c clamps, that I actually own, to push the piston back in. Is that strong enough?

No need to pull the caliper off. The clamp is strong enough to push the piston back in for sure. ( remember to uncap the brake fluid reservoir)

Thanks for the help.

Install went smooth. Just went and did some bedding. Jeep is the garage cooling off at the moment.
