New / Changed OE SRT8 pads?
Just ordered the WK2 SRT8 Brembo setup for my Durango...
From my supplier:
CHRYSLER CHANGED THE 6814427AA TO 68144427AB and price went up to $460 list - $322 sale price!?
Anyone know why or whats different? Pad composition, TSB or issues fixed, or just plain
I wanted the OE brembo front pads because noise and dust aside, there were no other front pads available that the consesus agreed on that provided equal or better performance of the OE "brembo" pads, and $160 was a decent price. Also I wanted to feel the OE performamce for myself at least once to use as a benchmark for possible future alternative pads like the so-called OE equivalent Bendix (Jurid) that cost only $30 lol
For rears I compromised and took a risk and ordered $50 stop-tech pads - but for fronts I wanted the Brembo to go with the brembo calipers and rotors at least to start
