No front strut brace?

Noticed in the engine bay pics there is no conspicuous strut brace hoop between the strut pillars....was there no need?

Or is there one built in underneath?

Or is this a post mopar performance accessory to stoke the aftermarket?

It would be great if Mopar made some specific Jeep performance products for after the sale.

it speaks in the intro how much stiffer the chasis is from the wk----wk2. I guess it really wasnt needed. Im sure it will be something the aftermarket jumps on....

I'm sure they will but it's unlikely it will do anything other than lighten someone's wallet rather than provide any performance improvement.

The WK2 chassis is 146% stiffer than the WK and I'm sure if this would have needed one it would be on it from the factory.

Of you check the suspension out you'll see this IS NOT a strut suspension vehicle but a dual A arm. The top of the shock tower is not loaded side to side hence no need for a strut brace.

No it's not a strut design but still has a spring/shock unit loading into the "strut" towers

The new body's stifness is the real reason it's not required.
Aftermarket will sell heaps though...... sparkle sparkle
