Painting rotor hats?

I'm getting a little rust on the rotor hats on my '14 SRT. Any thoughts on using brush on black high temp Rustoleum paint? It is recommended for use on wood stoves, bbq grills, etc.

Re: Painting rotor hats?

Curious about this also as I will probably be replacing the rotors on mine and would like to paint the hats black.

Re: Painting rotor hats?

I would use the g2 caliper paint...its an epoxy and will hold up much better than the rustoleum.

Re: Painting rotor hats?

I've used the duplicolor caliper paint on rotor hats in the past with fine results...

The hat runs much cooler than the rotor, so it isn't clear that heat is the prime factor.. more like a paint that is gonna hold up through years of you ignoring it
