I get up to about 60 and do the first stage, I think you want to get them HOT!

Just found the procedure on Powerstops website. I'll try this and see if it improves any. Thanks.

Re: Power Stop Z26 Pads

Did another bedding procedure on them and they feel a little better. What I've determined is these don't have the initial bite and grabiness of the OEM Brembo pads. I was used to that jerk you out of your seat initial bite of the OEM pads. Overall they stop well and the dust is minimal which is a huge improvement. Also when wet, these do not stick to the rotors as the OEM pads did.

Thumbs up Re: Power Stop Z26 Pads

Glad to hear they are working better for you, mine seem like they are getting better as they wear in, very happy with them so far.

Re: Power Stop Z26 Pads

Just bought the PowerStop Z26 brake pads for my 2016 Jeep SRT from RockAuto. The price is the best I could find at $65 for fronts (1405) and $54 for rears (1053).

Re: Power Stop Z26 Pads

I have been running the Powerstop Z26 pads on front and rear for several thousand miles and only recently I experience squeal when the car is cold for the initial rolling stops. After the the initial rolling stops out of my garage they squeal goes away. I figured I needed to grease the back of the pads better considering the Z26 have the metal backings. Well after applying a better coating of caliper grease I still experience the cold rolling stop squeal.

Anyone else have this experience? Granted this is better than squealing once warmed up but still somewhat odd to only have started with the cold weather.

Mine do this every morning after it's been sitting overnight. After a couple of stops it goes away. Seems to be the passenger side rear for me.

Now that is interesting as the squeal sounds to be coming from the rear passenger side as well. I wonder what is up with just that one caliper.
